Mushroom may be sautéed and added to your child's food between 8-10 months old. It is not recommended to offer your baby mushroom puree on its on. You should add it to food dishes. Please ensure that they are fully cooked, soft, and appropriately sized so as not to pose any choking hazard!
It is most important to cook mushrooms for your baby's food. Mushrooms as we all know are fungi and cooking helps ensure their safety!
Get the fresh button mushroom not the one in the can. I have actually use button mushroom to make my baby's vegetable stock but have not given him the mushroom itself into his porridge. So today I chopped up the mushroom and cooked together with his porridge.
Schedule for Today:
Morning (8 am to 9 am): Breastmilk
Noon (11 am to 12pm): Lunch, continue with breastmilk as and when needed
Early Afternoon (2pm to 3pm): Some fruit puree & breastmilk as and when needed
Late Afternoon (5pm to 6pm): Dinner & breastmilk as and when needed
Night (after 6pm): Breastmilk

Same as previously.
Amount of Food:
The amount of food is 1 1/2 tablespoons of rice grains (white + brown) + 1 tablespoon of potato + 1 tablespoon of chopped button mushroom + 1 tablespoon of chopped spinach + 1 chopped baby carrot + 1 tablespoon of toufu + 1 teaspoon of butter.
